Turf Wars are where you either take control of an area from a rival boss, or you need to protect an area you have under control from attackers. Using his skills on the field, he leads Baker’s crew into the turf wars. Touchdown is ex-army, an ex-professional football player and an excellent part of Baker’s team – loyal and very competitive. Nice guy, nice green hair, nice to have him on your team. And this is where Baker’s trusted friend, Touchdown comes into play. After doing various small heists to build up extra money, taking a bullet to the knee and walking into a few story missions that I probably shouldn’t have been a part of, you will come across new territories. A healthy flow of money is important because taking over a city costs a lot of money. The purpose of heists is to get money (and who doesn’t want a jaunty new purse). So after completing various tasks, taken over a few districts and have run out of things to do, you have to end your day and then you can continue with the story. This will carry over between your playthroughs. As you play, your ‘boss level’ will raise and this will bring certain benefits – additional health, starting cash, etc. Depending on the results of the missions will depend on how the plot line will progress. There are missions where you’ve given choices depending on what decisions you’ve made – different plot lines will then open up. This is where things become strategic and you must think about what heists to do and who are the right people to send on those heists – because your crew can also die – and if they die, they are dead for the rest of the campaign. For example, who you take with you on a mission and how many people you take with you can alter how much cash and respect you get (and how many ways you need to split it).ĭo you want to risk losing a mission because you held too many of your crew back? Do you want to risk losing Baker? If Baker dies, then the game ends… oof. Well, that seems easy! But, choose carefully, because all of your options can influence what happens. On the map you will select various missions, then select the crew you – then you go out on your mission. If you want to become a crime boss, you need to work hard and get a team together.
